Curtin University’s Dubai campus has announced agreements with major companies on three continents in order to give students with industry-relevant opportunities. Students can get funding up to AED 100,000 for their studies through this agreement, as well as mentorship and placement chances with these organizations.
Transnational Academic Group, Forbes Africa, CNBC Africa, TechOne Global, and local enterprises in the UAE are among the industry partners.
Curtin Dubai has a new 48,000-square-foot campus in Dubai International Academic City that houses the School of Business and Humanities, the School of Computer Science, and the Engineering Pavilion, all of which are located in Dubai Silicon Oasis. Curtin’s five global campuses, home to over 50,000 students, offer seamless inter-campus transfers, a centralized global job portal, and a network of over 250,000 alumni chapters. Employers engage directly with students to recruit for short and long-term internships and full-time placements at Curtin Dubai’s yearly career fairs.
“Equal opportunity for students from all backgrounds is one of Curtin’s core values, ensuring that they are supported and able to complete their higher education. These are high-value scholarships awarded to worthy students who have exhibited success in an extracurricular activity or community service while still being academically strong “, stated Pro Vice Chancellor and Campus President John Evans.
Curtin Dubai will be hosting an Open Day at its newly expanded campus on 27 August 2021, with the option to attend online if desired.
